Each unit will require that you complete two online quizzes and one online unit test. You will also be required to complete homework assignments online in the "Mastering GOB Chemistry" program. | Course Goal | The goal of this course is to give students an understanding and appreciation of the role of chemistry in health and life. The course is designed primarily for students who are preparing for careers in health-related professions. |
| Course Description | Chemistry 100 is an introductory course in basic chemistry covering chemical concepts and principles through the topics of acids, bases and salts. Not intended for curriculums requiring a chemistry major or minor. This course of Chemistry 110 is required prior to enrollment in Chemistry 101 or Chemistry 210. |

| Grading | Grades will be computed on a point system. At the end of the semester, the total number of points earned will be divided by the total points possible to determine the percent score for the course. |
