Online Course Features and Requirements Number of tests:       4       of which   2  must be proctored.

Required on campus sessions:   None

Special labs or practicum:  None

Number of assignments:  There will be an assignment each day, five days per week.

Estimated time per week:  This is a 3 hour class requiring approximately 15 hours per week.

Group interaction required:  Almost every day, you will be posting solutions to problems and will evaluate other student postings.

Scheduled activities or self paced:  All learning is scheduled on a daily basis and the course is not self-paced.

Know probability distributions and calculate associated probabilities.

Know and use sampling theory.

Be able to do hypotheses testing.

Be able to do analysis of variance.

Know and calculate correlation and linear regression.

Grading Each unit will have a grading rubric outlining the points for each activity.

POSTINGS/PARTICIPATION:  Most postings and participation are worth 5 points.  With no participation, most postings are worth 3 points.

TESTS: Tests will be 50 to 100 points, depending on the length of the tests and the quantity of material being tested.

90%+ - 93%    A-

87%+ - 90%    B+

83%+ - 87%    B

80%+ - 83%    B-

77%+ - 80%    C+

73%+ - 77%    C

70%+ - 73%    C-

67%+ - 70%    D+

63%+ - 67%    D

60%+ - 63%    D-

to 60%             F
