Technical Support

This section of the Online Learning web site provides you with contact information and answers to the most commonly asked questions.

If you are uncertain who to contact for help, contact the Help Desk at helpdesk@kellogg.edu or (269) 965-3931 extension 4148 during normal business hours (8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Monday-Thursday; 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Fridays except Summer Semester-8:00 AM-1:00 PM Fridays). We will find your answer or direct you to someone who can.

Kellogg Community College provides technical support to users of Kellogg Community College's Blackboard online course delivery system.

  • E-mail: Contact the Help Desk via e-mail at helpdesk@kellogg.edu. You can expect a response within twenty-four hours on weekdays and on the following business day on weekends. 
  • Telephone: Contact the Help Desk at (269) 965-3931 extension 4148. Leave a message if the phone is not answered or it is outside regular work hours. Telephone calls will be returned within one business day.
  • Learning Resource Center Help Desk Office: Walk-up support is available in the Learning Technologies Office, LRC 301 during the hours listed above

Registration or Student Records Help

  • Contact Customer Service at records@kellogg.edu or by telephone at 269-965-3931 ext. 2540. Questions are answered during normal business hours.

Financial Aid Help

  • Contact Bernice LaFleur via e-mail at lafleurb@kellogg.edu or by telephone at (269) 965-3931 extension 2615. Questions are answered during normal business hours.

Test Proctoring Help

  • Contact Nancy Obey via e-mail at obeyn@kellogg.edu or by telephone at (269) 965-3931 extension 2645.  Questions are answered during normal business hours. Michigan Community College Virtual Learning Collaborative students should also see the MCCVLC proctoring page.

Library Support

  • Contact a librarian via the Internet from the "Ask Us A Question!" button on the Learning Resource Center page or by telephone at (269) 965-4122. During Fall and Spring semester, Kassie Dunham generally provides support to distance learning students.
