Usernames and Passwords
Blackboard is a password-protected virtual
classroom environment. Once you have registered for an online
course, a Blackboard account will be created for you. This account
will contain personal information such
as your first and last name, email address (as supplied upon
registration), and Student ID number.
KCC has developed the following convention
for creating Blackboard accounts for students.
- Your Username will be the lower case
letter "k" followed by your KCC Student ID number. (e.g.,
k1234567).
- Starting on May 12, 2008, your
Blackboard password will be your KCC Universal Password (the same as you
use for the KCC Portal).
For example, for Kelly Green, #0001234:
Username = k0001234
Password = KCC Universal Password
