Grants of $5,000 to $10,000 are now available through Michigan Virtual University's Online Professional Development Program for faculty
to create online professional development activities. For more

Online Instructor Courses
MiVU offers educators a number of courses for learning how to teach
online:
Faculty Training Course
This is an intensive, six-week online course that focuses on the issues and optimal strategies for helping instructors get online courses ready for teaching quickly and
effectively.
Master Trainer Course
Instructors who complete this eight-week course are authorized to access MVU's instructional management system and course materials to train additional faculty at their home institution. Master instructors receive one-on-one mentoring from the course authors as they navigate available resources to train others
