Michigan Community College NetworkThe Michigan Community College Network has been organized to provide information relating to Michigan Community Colleges.  The web site was made possible by a grant from the Michigan Department of Career Development.  This site provides online documents and information about community college statistics and data.

Handshake Sessions (One-day Introductory Workshops)
Designing and Assessing Learning (DAL) (Four-day Sessions)
Coach/Trainer Sessions (DAL is Prerequisite)
DACUM (Developing a Curriuculum)

The WIDS Learning Design System is a software tool that supports program, course, and module or learning object development.  The system is flexible and builds on sound instructional design principles, including the use of learning outcomes, objectives, authentic assessments, standards, and activities linked to competency development.  For more information about the WIDS product visit their web site www.wids.org.
