Development
 The professional growth and development of
instructors at KCC is an important goal of the college. Every
instructor is encouraged to participate in activities that contribute
to increased student success in the classroom or learning
environment. Due to the diverse nature of professional positions, the best source of advice on such activities
may be your department or program chair. Each
instructor should also consider becoming a member of appropriate professional organizations.
Activities used to promote professional development have included off-campus workshops, seminars, conferences, and short courses; similar on-campus activities
are sponsored by the
Learning Technologies group and others.
