CHEM
111,
General Chemistry II (adjunct
instructor)
This is the second
semester of freshman chemistry for major students and those whose curriculum
requires one year of
college chemistry. It is a prerequisuite for taking CHEM 201, Organic
Chemistry I. This class is offered once a year, in Spring.
CHEM
110,
General Chemistry I (adjunct
instructor)
This is the first semester of freshman chemistry for major students and those whose curriculum
requires one year of
college chemistry. It is a prerequisuite for taking CHEM 111,
General Chemistry II, and CHEM 210,
Introduction to
Organic and Biochemistry. This class is offered in Fall and Spring.
CHEM 100,
Fundamentals of Chemistry I (adjunct
instructor)
This is a class for non-major students who need to
take chemistry, either as an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN-RN) program
requirement or to fulfill one of the graduation requirements for an associate
degree from KCC (science with lab). This class is offered every semester (Fall,
Spring, Summer).
CHEM 10,
Fundamental Concepts of Chemistry (adjunct instructor)
This remedial class is intended for those students with inadequate
science / math background to enter the regular CHEM 100 class. If you haven't
had any math or science for at least the last 5 years or more, I would recommend
taking this 3-credit lecture-only course before you move on to CHEM 100. This class
is offered once a year, in Fall. This class is not currently being
offered.
MATH 101,
Beginning Algebra (adjunct
instructor)
This is a required class for
most students, as it is a pre-requisite for most science courses (such as chemistry,
etc.). This class is offered every semester (Fall,
Spring, Summer).
MATH 98,
Mathematics Clinic || MATH 99, Pre-Algebra (math parapro)
I have taught the lab portions of
these remedial math classes for several sections of
the two classes.
